1 July 2018 - CANADA DAY - Sarnia Harbour Fireworks
We launched at 10pm from the roof top of the Sarnia Observer building for a 17 min display. A video was captured by a Phantom 4 Pro using 2KHD at F8 ISO 800 at 50th of a sec. focused on infinity. Most video was very high contrast and underexposed so it does not properly show the scene of the harbour itself. A compilation video of <half the 17 min is published here on the video EVENTS page
Meanwhile, these more colourful still shots were done by CANDA Observer, Dr Ian Sanderson with a Sony Alpha65 DSLR - F8 focused on infinity, hand triggered on bulb setting. Click on any photos for a larger view and then click the right or left arrow to see more. The whole event was really quite stunning and appreciated by all who lined the harbour or went out in boats to get closer.
