Mavic 2 Enterprise Under Marginal Conditions
I'm pretty impressed with all Mavics. They represent a design point with excellent flight characteristics and even better expandability potential with a standardized port. This is a test of the M2 Enterprise under very poor operating conditions. Near freezing, windy and marginal VFR,(Visual Flight Rules) . . an aviation criteria of ceiling and visibility.
Indefinite Ceiling ~1000ft and 1/2 to 3 statute miles visibility. Wind 31mph with gusts to 41mph. Hovering at 400ft AGL.
How stable is this video platform under full 6 times magnification? What does marginal VFR look like? Will Mavic be able to capture smooth video and remain controllable enough to track a moving vehicle at 3miles or more?
To answer these questions. . . here's the video.
